About WinMan Trails
WinMan Trails, located between Manitowish Waters and Winchester in northern Wisconsin, is a network of silent sport trails spanning 1,300 acres of private and public land. The year-round trail system offers cross-country skiing, fat biking and snowshoeing during the winter season and mountain biking, hiking and trail-running the rest of the year.
The 20k of ski trails, groomed for both classic and skate skiing, meander through maple, pine and poplar stands gliding over rolling terrain. The consistently groomed ski trails are designed for all levels of skiers.
The snowshoe trails consist of five miles of 7-foot wide groomed loops that are ideal for social snowshoeing or shoeing with kids without the need for anyone to break trail. For those looking for a more conventional snowshoe, there are un-groomed signed loops as well as the entire backcountry of WinMan.
WinMan has over 11-miles (and growing) of machine-built mountain bike flow trails, most designed for riders of all abilities. During the winter season, a majority of the trails are regularly groomed for fat-biking.
Amenities include a heated chalet with restrooms, changing rooms, great room, kitchen, wifi, and a fireplace with a wood-fired pizza oven. For skiers, there’s a wax bench with iron and tuning tools located in the attached garage. For bikers, a pump, repair stand and tools are located just outside the chalet. For the dogs (yes, our trails are dog friendly), there’s a heated water bowl to keep them hydrated.
